Ambit and intake services

This section applies to Ambit, a service of Montague Law PLLC, including the Ambit website at ambit.wmlex.com, the online fit questionnaire, the terms and engagement process, the trademark questionnaire and file uploads at intake.wmlex.com, and private status and record links delivered through those services. It supplements the rest of this policy; where the two differ for these services, this section controls.

Before and after engagement. Information you submit through a fit, contact, or eligibility questionnaire before the Firm accepts an engagement does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send information you do not want considered in the Firm’s intake and conflict-review process. After you accept recorded terms of engagement, Ambit may request detailed information and files so the Firm can perform the legal services. The Firm handles that post-engagement information subject to its professional and legal obligations, not as a general website inquiry.

What Ambit processes. Ambit may process contact and identity information; proposed marks and goods/services descriptions; ownership, use, filing, search, dispute, and business facts; engagement choices, signatures, timestamps, IP address, and browser/device information; payment link status; questionnaire answers and uploaded files; generated records and PDFs; delivery events; and communications needed to operate and document the service. Payment card details are handled by the Firm’s payment provider and are not stored in Ambit’s records.

Service providers. The Firm uses a small number of service providers to operate Ambit, and they process information only as needed for those functions: Cloudflare (hosting, security, Turnstile verification, and record storage), Resend (transactional email, which may include questionnaire answers, signed records, and attachments), and Clio (practice management and payment links). When the optional class-suggestion feature is enabled, Anthropic receives only the goods/services description you typed, not the rest of your answers.

Browser storage, private links, and email. Incomplete questionnaire answers (not files) may remain in your browser for up to 30 days so you can resume; successful submission clears them, and you can clear them yourself from the questionnaire interface or your browser settings. Private links function as bearer links. Anyone who obtains a valid link may be able to view or continue the associated record until the link is used, revoked, or expires. Avoid shared devices and protect copied links. Email carries risks outside the Firm’s control.

Retention. The Firm retains information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including intake and conflict review, documentation of signed terms, delivery of services, security, and legal and professional obligations. Signed terms, completed questionnaires, uploaded files, and related records are retained under the Firm’s client file retention policy, which reflects applicable professional-responsibility requirements. The Firm may retain information longer where required for conflicts, legal holds, tax and accounting needs, security, or disputes, and may delete information earlier when it is no longer needed and deletion is permitted.

Requests. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting info@wmlex.com. The Firm will evaluate each request subject to identity verification and to the retention needs and legal exceptions described above.
